Potential Graduate Students:

Dr. Capaldi seeks a new graduate student every few years. Potential graduate students must apply through the formal channels in the Behavioral Neuroscience area of the Department of Psychology. Check availability by emailing Devina or Lynn.

Requirements for New Graduate Students:

Potential graduate students must meet the minimum qualifications for admittance in the Department of Psychology Graduate Program. Please be aware of the departmental deadlines for application submission. Outside of the basic departmental requirements, the qualities of successful students include: self-motivated, dependable, goal-oriented individuals who can work well with others as well as independently. Highly desirable are those candidates who have had research experience and who were academically successful at their past schools. Students must be interested in working with both animals and humans in a research setting.

Vaccinations: you will need to obtain a tetanus shot if you have not had one in the last 10 years and provide proof of an MMR vaccination, which you most likely received as a small child. If you do not have a primary doctor, you can have this done at Student Health for FREE.
