Sleep Therapy Group

Getting a good night's sleep is vital for both physical and mental health. Approximately 1 out of 6 (or 40 million) people report sleep problems. These difficulties with sleep have been associated with day time concentration, memory, and overall mood. The ASU Clinical Psychology Center offers a group program designed to help you with whatever sleeping difficulties you may currently be experiencing.

This seven session program aims to help you to:

  • Improve habits that may interfere with sleep
  • Improve quality of sleep
  • Discover techniques to help you get to sleep faster
  • Manage anxiety before bed
  • Learn the biology of sleep

The Clinical Psychology offers groups for ASU students and faculty, as well as adults from the community. Group leaders are doctoral students in clinical psychology and are supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist.

Each session will  be interactive, addressing the needs of each individual person. Sessions will be approximately an hour long, and a flat fee will be charged for participation in the seven week program.
