Ian Villalta, M.A., is a 5th year doctoral student specializing in psychological assessment and child-adolescent psychology. His clinical work focuses primarily on evidence-based psychological assessments, cognitive-behavioral therapy with youth, and parent training. Mr. Villalta formerly conducted psychological assessments and provided therapy services at Scottsdale’s Melmed Center, Tempe's Empact-SPC, and Phoenix Children's Hospital before becoming the assessment-focuses resident Therapist at the ASU Clinical Psychology Center.
Melissa Hagan, MPH, MA is a fifth year doctoral student specializing in child-adolescent psychology and psychological assessment. Her clinical work focuses primarily on evidence-based preventive and treatment interventions for youth and families. In addition, her research focuses on psychophysiology of youth and young adults who have experienced negative life events. Ms. Hagan previously conducted psychological assessments and therapy services at Phoenix Children's Hospital and Southwest Human Development before becoming the child-adolescent Resident Therlapist at the ASU Clinical Psychology Center.
Stephen Boyd, M.A., is a 4th year doctoral student specializing in health psychology. His clinical and research interests focus primarily on modifying health related behaviors, including diet and exercise, smoking, and problematic drinking, as well as maintaining physical and mental health for individuals with chronic or teminal illness. Prior to becoming the health-focused resident therapist at the ASU Clinical Psychology Center, Mr. Boyd conducted psychotherapy services at Southwest Behavioral Health Services in Phoenix.
