Research Careers

 

Of 61 graduates in the past 10 years:

12 are in academic positions (20%)

11 are in other primarily research oriented positions (18%)

7 are completing research oriented postdoctoral fellowships (11.5%).

Thus, roughly half of our recent graduates are in positions defined primarily by research activities.

 

Research Productivity

 

At the time of graduation:

94.3% of graduates had at least one publication and at least one conference presentation, with a mean of 4.37 publications and 6.8 conference presentations

Among graduates at least one year post degree:

67.9% authored at least one conference presentation and 67.9% authored one or more journal articles or book chapters, with an average of 9.6 publications and 13.7 conference presentations (over an average period of 5 years).
