The Olive Lab at ASU

 Dr. Olive’s scientific interests are in the neurochemical and neuropharmacological basis of alcoholism and drug addiction. His laboratory uses various techniques to study changes in the neurochemistry of the brain after acute and chronic exposure to alcohol and other drugs of abuse.  In addition, his laboratory performs preclinical testing of various pharmacological compounds that may be beneficial in the treatment of addiction.
