Undergraduate Research Assistants

Jessica Mueller is a research assistant in the program and is completing bachelors' degrees in Psychology and Family and Human Development. She is interested in research focused on risk pathways that influence the development of internalizing and externalizing problems across childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. In the future, Jessica plans to pursue advanced psychology doctoral training with a focus on prevention science and methods. She is particularly interested in prevention and treatment efforts for children suffering from pervasive developmental difficulties. |

Amanda Koehler is a research assistant in the program and is currently working to complete her B.S. degree in Psychology. She is interested in research that examines the influence of family dynamics on the development of anxiety, mood, and eating disorders. In her future research, Amanda hopes to develop and implement preventive interventions for eating disorders that consider the role of anxiety and depression in disorder development. |

Brighton Mirtsching is a research assistant in the program who is pursuing a B.A. degree in Psychology. She is most interested in studying the onset and development of extreme child and adolescent behavior problems, such as Tricotillomania. Brighton plans to develop evidenced-based treatments for children with these debilitating behavioral patterns. |

Carson Cook is a research assistant in the program and is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Psychology. He is interested in the impact family, peer and organizational factors have on the development of childhood and adolescence. He also is interested in effectiveness research, particularly psychosocial treatment programs for anxiety in youth. Carson plans to pursue JD-Psychology PhD training. |

Ciara Galli is a research assistant in the program and is completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Ciara has ample experience in working with children in school settings. Whereas her focus has been on educational remediation, her research interests focus on the study of comorbid separation anxiety disorder and disruptive disorders in youth. Ciara plans on pursuing an advanced degree in psychology that offers the opportunity to work in community-based settings. |

Ryan Stoll is a research assistant in the program and is currently working to finish his B.S. in Psychology. He is interested in the study of childhood and adolescent precursors of adult psychopathology, such as the role neurophysiological deficits have on the cognitive antecedents of internalizing and externalizing disorders. |
