Free Arts provides credited and unaccredited internship opportunities year round. Our interns expand their knowledge and experience under the direct training, support, and supervision of Free Arts staff, both in the office and in hands-on programs. Through department duties, teamwork, professional development, learning opportunities, and special projects, interns will have fun and accomplish their learning objectives in a creative and energetic environment.
Internship Expectations
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for our mission, pay attention to detail, can work collaboratively, and have a willingness to learn. We ask for a minimum of 10 to 25 hours per week, for 8 to 12 weeks, during normal business hours as well as outside of business hours, depending on your availability. Free Arts accepts applications from non-students, undergraduate & graduate students*, all required to be 19 years of age or older. All Development and Operations interns must pass a background check and Program interns, or any intern interacting with children, must submit an application for an Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card.
