The undergraduate experience

It’s more than a degree

As an undergraduate student in ASU’s Department of Psychology, your classroom experience is focused on studying the brain, mind and human behavior with innovative faculty. We also offer a variety of activities to support students enrolled in Barrett, The Honors College, and our supportive advising staff is here to help you get the most out of your degree program of choice. Enrich your education through the job experience offered by internships and through on-campus research opportunities. Consider joining Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and pursue your personal and social interests through ASU’s many campus clubs and organizations.

As a graduate student in ASU’s Department of Psychology, you’ll have the opportunity to take your career to the next level. You’ll work with undergraduates, conduct leading-edge research and engage in exciting conversations with our experienced, innovative faculty members. Psychology doctoral students receive tuition support and a stipend as well as the opportunity to apply for additional funding in recognition of excellence. Funding for travel is also available to graduate students to present their work at conferences.
