Childhelp (position description) 

Childhelp is a national non-profit organization that utilizes a highly effective one-stop approach to the investigation and treatment of child abuse. A role model in community collaboration, the central-Phoenix facility houses approximately 70 full-time professionals in law enforcement, child protective services, forensic pediatrics, forensic interviewing, and mental health/crisis intervention.

Our two Visitation Centers provide a safe homelike environment for parents to visit with their children. This may occur as a result of foster care placement or due to a family court case related to custody/parenting time. Families visiting in our Visitation Centers have access to a playground, dining areas, toys, air hockey, books, snacks, activities and more!

Observations will allow the intern to understand the role of a school psychologist and understand development and learning in typical children and children with disabilities.
